Limburgers uit Belgische grot gered Dertien speleologen uit Limburg zijn zaterdag gered uit een grot in de omgeving van het Waalse Namen. Ze kwamen vast te zitten toen het water in de ondergrondse ruimte plotseling steeg als gevolg van de hevige regenval in België. Door Niki van der Naald De groep van introducees werd geleid door een Kerkradenaar en een Brunssummer, beide lid van de Limburgse afdeling van Speleo Nederland, bevestigt coördinator Charles Schaap. Zijzelf wilden gisteren geen reactie geven. Volgens Schaap is niemand gewond geraakt bij het incident en ‘was er eigenlijk weinig aan de hand'. De dertien speleologen zakten zaterdagochtend rond half elf de Trou d'Haquin in, een grot die vooral bekend staat als oefenterrein voor de nog niet doorgewinterde speleoloog.
